A San Diego Harbor Wedding | Coasterra

Shelby and Mike's San Diego Harbor wedding was the perfect combination of San Diego style with Shelby and Mike's personality and spirit, from I Do's exchanged while overlooking the San Diego Skyline to a classy, yet eclectic reception.

We began working with Mike and Shelby in November 2019 and had no idea how long we would continue to work with them! Thanks to COVID, what was supposed to be an 11-month planning journey evolved into a 22-month adventure (but honestly, we really enjoyed it because these two are so sweet)! One thing stayed constant throughout the process: Shelby and Mike's love for one another. During the postponement, they couldn't wait any longer to become husband and wife and married at The Marriage Hut in Downtown San Diego on their original wedding date. They finally got to have the full wedding they were planning from the start exactly one year later!

When we were finally able to have the celebration of their dream, the evening did not disappoint. They held their wedding reception on the Harbor Float at Coasterra where their out of town guests got to enjoy the San Diego skyline placed directly behind Shelby and Mike. Upon entering the cocktail hour area, guests were greeted by tray passed h'ordeuvres and hedge walls with personalized escort cards created by the amazing Lovely Bones Paperie. Brown antique bud vases and whimsical white, yellow, and blush florals adorned the reception ballroom. Followed by an evening of carefully thought out toasts and a raging dance floor this sweet couple got to finally celebrate in the setting they dreamed about for years and will cherish for years to come!
